Ingrid is a digital marketing specialist having been involved in the industry for over 7 years. Initially on the corporate side of the fence at South African Airways where she headed up the Sales and Marketing for flysaa.com and then Channel Marketing Manager for Southern Sun Hotels Group.

After co-founding the strategic digital agency longtail she has focussed on emarketing and social media solutions for Clients such as Unilever (Stork brand) and Dulux.

Her specific focus is on reputation management and social media, having developed a proprietary tool, saidWot, to monitor and understand the nature of a Brand’s online presence and overall reputation. Her expertise in understanding the insights and issues derived from the results of saidWot for a client have enabled focussed, measurable and successful strategies.

The strategies include utilising eMarketing tools such as Search Engine Optimisation, webPR, Pay Per Click advertising amongst others to realise favourable results. She contributes regular articles on this subject to the company blog and press portals to support in building the understanding of the importance of this industry within the brand positioning, marketing and PR mix.
